Couch to 5k has really helped my mental health so much in lockdown. It has kept me exercising 3 times a week which I never did before. Looking back on my improvements each week made me feel so proud of myself and finishing the programme was such a good feeling. I hope to continue on running and preparing for a 10K!

General approach to wellbeing
There are lots of different suggestions below to help you optimise your physical health around a busy schedule.
Exercise
Exercise is vital to maintain both your physical and mental wellbeing.
At HEE-TV we have received positive feedback from trainees regarding training days that have incorporated an element of physical exercise, e.g. yoga.
Currently we are offering live yoga and pilate sessions online - see below

PSWS Live Yoga & Pilates Sessions
Free for all Thames Valley trainee doctors, dentists and pharmacists.
Attendance is flexible - register for the classes you can attend.
Monday 18.30 – 19.30 Hatha Yoga
Thursday 18.00 – 19.00 Pilates
The each set of sessions will run for four weeks.
